The Role
We are seeking a Performance and Specialty Vehicle Fabrication/Build Technician responsible for the fabrication, integration and mechanical/electrical support of best-in-class Specialty Show Vehicle, Pace Car and Performance Engineering builds.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- 10+ years automotive technician and fabrication experience.
- 5+ years of experience with machine shop fabrication equipment, welding, one-off/prototype vehicle build, and vehicle mechanical/electrical.
- Technical course work, training, professional certifications, Journeyman status or relevant experience required for candidates without a degree beyond high school.
- Strong mechanical and automotive skills.
- Welding including MIG and TIG with both aluminum and steel.
- Sheet metal fabrication.
- Proficient with manual machining.
- Skilled in the operation of shop fabrication equipment (band saw, lathes, mills, press brakes).
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues during vehicle builds.
- Ability to read complex engineering drawings.
- Creative in solving project issues.
- Demonstrated capability in leading projects, utilizing other technicians in support of achieving deliverables.
- Ability to address multiple projects and achieve results with little or no supervision.
- Problem solving and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, managers, and peers.
- Ability to work in teams and independently.
- Exhibit a desire to learn new skills.

- Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field.
