Work Arrangement

Hybrid - this position requires the employee to be onsite a minimum of three days per week. The primary work location is Warren, MI.

The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated OpEx Master to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a Six Sigma Black Belt or a GM Faster Master certification. In addition, the ideal candidate will enhance our teams advanced analytics capabilities. This position offers an excellent opportunity to grow as a problem solver and leader by working on high impact enterprise projects.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):

  • Lead and manage critical operational excellence projects and initiatives
  • Track and monitor projects to ensure on-time completion
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements.
  • Mentor and train team members in continuous improvement methods
  • Facilitate and support project teams by leading them through the Op-Ex process, gathering required data, executing analyses, identifying issues, and recommending solutions
  • Review work with the project champion and senior leadership as the project progresses

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • 5+ relevant experience (i.e. Process Improvement, Business Operations, or Project/Program Management)
  • 2+ years of professional experience using Minitab or similar statistical software
  • Proven experience in leading teams and projects
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills by successfully identifying and resolving issues, resulting in improvements and project efficiency
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate solutions to stakeholders, completing the change management processes.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):

  • Up to date process improvement project portfolio
  • Ability to write SQL scripts to pull and summarize data from database schemas
  • Working knowledge of advanced analytics techniques like Large Language Models and Machine Learning
  • Working knowledge of Python libraries and pandas
