The Opportunity

We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our GM Oshawa Facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely troubleshoot various automotive stamping and production equipment
  • Troubleshoot VFD, Servomotors and Network Communication devices
  • Maintain and routinely monitor all mechanical and electrical equipment (preventative and predictive maintenance)
  • Repair, troubleshoot and install machinery, control systems and automation

Additional Description

Who We Are Looking For:

  • High School education with valid Electrician License (309A or 442A)
  • Successful completion of Canadian Electrical Apprenticeship Program
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • 2-3 Years' experience in a Manufacturing/Automotive environment
  • Robotics, PLC and HMI Experience preferred
  • Dual ticket a definite asset
  • Must be available to work any Shift
  • Ability to work scheduled overtime as required

  • Compensation: Starting at a full rate of $51.97 plus a Cost Of Living Adjustment (COLA) - currently $0.05/hour
  • Plus you will earn an afternoon shift premium of 5%, a night shift premium of 10%, paid overtime (x1.5 and x2.0) in accordance with the collective agreement
  • COLA Adjustments on a quarterly basis
  • DC Pension Program with Employer Match up to 2080 hours
  • Annual General Wage increases scheduled in 2025
