The Website Manager position reports to the Head of Performance Marketing
General Motors is seeking a Website Manager who will lead site strategy ensuring that our brand-owned digital properties provide a world-class, frictionless, research, shopping and brand experiences. This position requires consistent optimization of site performance/conversion, development of research plans and analysis to drive recommendations, creative definition/best practices, SEO management and production of website content to support product launches and brand announcements.

This position requires leadership skills to be a people leader to direct reports and external agency teams responsible for executing the digital strategy for the GM brand as well as cross collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Candidates should have a diverse digital marketing background with product management experience working on high traffic consumer facing websites and a strong understanding of user experience (UX) design and a passion for metrics/site performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop overall strategy of brand website to meet customer needs and help drive sales for the brands
- Lead execution that encompasses the key digital channels for the Cadillac brand, including websites, digital brochures and digital ecommerce tools.
- Define the features and functionality to best tell the Cadillac product and brand story
- Manage the day-to-day process and timelines, coordinating with production and creative agencies to ensure launch dates are met
- Lead several external agency teams responsible for executing the digital platform strategy
- Work closely with marketing colleagues and internal business partners to continually improve the website and drive KPIs.
- Be an advocate for the user by implementing industry best practices, usability research and customer insights/principles throughout the design and development process.
- Manage and effectively collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners within a large organization.
- Help manage the digital budget
- Establish and track KPIs
- Regularly review analytics reporting and provide actionable insights
- Help drive ongoing digital optimization, including A/B testing and Test/Target initiatives.
- Manage usability studies, competitive review/audits, and benchmarking studies.
- Define and prioritize the features and bugs according to business needs and value
- Lead global collaboration and coordination to drive coordinated innovation and experience optimization across our global markets.
- Content strategy and management responsibilities include:
- Manage the development of the vehicle model overview pages and shopping tools
- Oversee the model-year changeover rollout across the website and digital brochures
- Lead the website and digital brochure content development to support reveal and launch vehicles
- Lead the website and brochure specific asset development (including photos, videos and CGI assets) to ensure robust and engaging vehicle and brand content
- Lead content research and optimization for the website, digital brochures and other related digital platforms
- Provide brand retail support to optimize offers, incentives, and retail communications
- Manage GM Partner Coordination (Sirius/XM/OnStar, CCA, Owner Center, GM Card, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 7+ years digital marketing experience, with deep knowledge of user experience (UX) design.
- Previous digital product management experience working on a consumer facing website.
- Excellent project management skills and the proven ability to manage many projects at any given time.
- Passion for the digital space with strong knowledge of digital trends and ability to innovate.
- Experience working with digital content management systems
- Experience working directly with technology teams and developers to bring ideas to life.
- Have the technical & experience design aptitude to quickly grasp complex technical issues and to communicate directly with technical teams & designers.
- Experience with usability testing, A/B testing, and translating user insights into site improvements.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to digest site metrics and turn into recommended actions.
- Experience leading multiple agency partners and collaborating closely with them to bring your vision to life.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams across a large organization.
- Demonstrated understanding of digital creative, digital media, and measurement.
- Experience working globally across markets and partnering with colleagues around the world to create brand consistency.
- Capacity to take ownership of tasks and drive through to completion.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Automotive and luxury brand experience a plus
A company vehicle will be provided for this role with successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Report review.
