Description
As a Media Intelligence Analyst at GM China, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our media strategy by providing insights derived from various media data sources. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about analyzing trends, sentiments, and impact across traditional and digital media landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze GM media coverage in China across multiple channels with a data-driven approach
- Work with global team to identify methodology that can effectively track the impact of GM's communication work in China
- Collaborate across teams to refine messaging based on media intelligence findings
- Develop media monitoring reports that provide insights into industry trends and competitor activities
- Deliver timely update to related stakeholders on breaking news that may impact GM's business
- Support crisis management by providing real-time intelligence and strategic recommendations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in communications, journalism, foreign languages or a related field.
- Proven track record with a top media outlet or a PR agency, preferably also with corporate experience
- Deep understanding of China's media landscape and automotive industry
- Excellent English writing and presentation skills
- Proficiency with media monitoring and data visualization tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions and cultures
