The Role
Responsible for implementing global GMS Built-In-Quality standards through the development of BIQ related processes, tools, and training activities, as well as assessing associated compliance requirements across three global regions. The Global BIQ Lead works closely with other members of the Quality System and Assurance Team, as well as with Plant operations towards reducing the occurrence of both Enterprise and Plant specific Quality claims and errors. Also supports Regional BIQ Global Implementation Owners and Plant BIQ SMEs through training opportunities and coordinating with others to identify where noncompliance to BIQ requirements may exist within the Plants and assists the Plants in closing existing noncompliance gaps. Support the transformation and modernization of the quality reporting tools, claims and returns processing, and BIQ future process development. Lead a team of dealer liaisons that support the customers of their respective parts distribution centers.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Lead, train, and support Quality supervisors and Dealer Liaisons on claims processing and process compliance to defined task instructions.
- Coordinate input from internal and external customers to better understand customer needs and/or perceptions
- Manage the team and process for PWB+ Claim and Return submissions and categorizing
- Maintain BIQ Formal Assessment Scoring Guide
- Facilitate Global BIQ Steering Committee and GMNA BIQ Subcommittee calls
- Conduct BIQ related support calls and/or on-site visits towards implementation of BIQ in Plants
- Support WSIO Team members, Plant managers, and Plant Quality Leads through BIQ training when applicable
- Support and train Plant Quality Leads / supervisors on new and existing processes
- Support GMS Formal Assessments as scheduled; acting as GMS Assessment Lead and/or BIQ Assessor
- Organize/plan annual GMNA Functional Workshops (e.g., Quality and Dealer Liaison)
- Develop associated BIQ training modules when necessary
- Assist plant operations with issue resolution for unusual or complex Quality problems
- Establishes a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or associated projects
- Coordinates input from internal and external customers to better understand customer needs and/or perceptions
- Develop and manage standardized Quality tools such as Process Control Plans and other Quality related standard work documents
- Assist customers with escalated claims and returns issues
- Provide back-up to Quality Systems and Assurance Team members when applicable
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Exhibits Managerial Courage by speaking fearlessly with respect dispensing direct and actionable feedback, as well as being open and direct with other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training that is an enabler of implementing and supporting Quality improvements, or equivalent training
- Forward-thinking by proactively managing Quality risks and developing approaches towards mitigating potential problems
- Be Inclusive and Encourages feedback and takes the opportunity to engage everyone in process development and implementation
- Problem solving capabilities to analyze and establish root cause solutions for Quality related matters
- Must be able to work cross functionally to define problems with Operations and assist in resolving issues
- 3-5 years relevant work experience
- Oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel 50% of the time domestically, cross multiple states within the region
- Overnight Travel Required

Compensation:
The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
- The salary range for this role is ($85,100 - $135,900). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
