Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Warren, Michigan three times per week, at minimum.
The Role:
As a member of our Global Infrastructure & Corporate Citizenship Team, you will be responsible for strategic initiatives and supporting operational execution with the 3rd party food service agreements for Non-Manufacturing locations in Michigan along with shuttle transportation contracts. This role requires regular interface with Global Purchasing, Non-Manufacturing Operational Leadership, and Tenant Stakeholders, while also ensuring compliance with Supplier Safety Contract Management. This team supports the scope development, onboarding, and steady state monitoring to ensure the successful integration of the supplier partnerships with strong emphasis on sustainability principles and waste elimination through performance analysis and countermeasures using monthly KPI evaluations and quarterly performance reviews with our business partners.

What You'll Do:
- Development and integrity of the framework and scope documentation for Food Service Agreements at Non-Manufacturing Michigan locations and overseeing the service quality execution of our business partners.
- Sourcing and support for shuttle transportation at Michigan campuses
- Key Performance Metric Development and Tracking - oversight of service agreement risks, optimizing a profit and loss food service model.
- Driving health and wellness initiatives with suppliers at every GM location with GM Healthy Food OpEx Program
- Engagement with tenant populations and strategic stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction through execution of operational deliverables and analysis of survey results
- As a single point of contact for the building tenants, you will be responsible for routine interface and coordination of all food centered activities for their respective building(s)
- Act as the voice of the tenant in long term food service project planning and execution by pulling in the required resources such as Facility Engineering, Construction, Transformation, Resource Management, Communications, Real Estate, and Events Planners
- Responsible to ensure the Service Provider is delivering efficient and timely execution of all food services in the areas of maintenance, housekeeping, quality of services, as well as driving continuous improvements and sharing lessons learned.
- Drives strategic and analytical planning to optimize services guided by industry benchmark standards including incorporating sustainable practices and products
- Develop creative solutions to complex challenges while utilizing technology and information in support of GM's mission to deliver data driven solutions that allow us to operate efficiently now and in the future.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, hospitality, facility management or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in customer service/customer experience
- 3+ years of experience working with contracting and vendor relationship management
- Passion for problem solving and desire to learn root cause analysis and troubleshooting methods
- Creative solutions for innovation and solving problems that have ambiguity
- Experience in planning, creation, execution of technical tasks, and financial tracking
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience and passion for problem solving
- Experience in leading teams and projects
- Collaborative and partnering leadership style
- Risk management strategies
- Technical writing, knowledge of contracting practices and concepts, working understanding of process controls and audit methods, records management discipline, presentations, training instructor

- Occasional travel through US and Canada
