General Motors Israel (Herzliya)takes a significant part in shaping the autonomous vehicle.We impact the future vehicles in diverse fields by developing cutting edge technologies. Within GM Israel, over 400 people working in a hybrid flexible mode on one of the most exciting challenges of our days.

The Finance Team leads all the financials aspects of the organization (accounting, tax, treasury, Forecast and planning, etc.) and supports the business unit with "on time" accurate financial data and analytics. The Team includes bookkeeper, analysts and Controller.

We are looking for a Finance Controller to join the team!

What will you do:

  • Month end close and year end close based on GM global timeline
  • Accounts payable, inter-co rebilling
  • Capital
  • internal controls
  • Monthly, yearly and Ad hoc Cash Flow forecast
  • Statutory tax
  • Gov't incentives (if applicable)
  • Professional overseeing/monitoring/review/guidance of bookkeeping activities
  • Preparation of local regulatory reporting including Financial Statements and Tax report
  • Work with Corporate functions such as- tax, accounting and technical accounting, treasury, Compliance and business units
  • Other relevant activities as required
  • FP&A activities include the following:
  • Set up annual budget (people cost and not people cost)
  • Monthly tracking of actual vs. forecast/budget
  • Other relevant activities as required

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and CPA
  • Proven working experience as Controller - preferred in the Hitech multinational company
  • Strong computer skills with advanced knowledge in Excel and eSAP/S system
  • Understand the business (a businessperson first, has an operating mindset)
  • Lominger Competencies- Strategic Agility, Innovation Management, Drive for Results, Creativity, Problem Solving, One Team Orientation, Decision Quality, Action Oriented, Perseverance, and Peer Relationship
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken Hebrew & English
