Description
Design, integrate, perform tolerance stackups, and release Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) high voltage Lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery packs, including Cold Plates (heat exchangers) and Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs), using Siemens NX, Teamcenter, Vismockup, and Engineering Change Management (ECM) tools. Evaluate new suppliers' engineering and manufacturing capability by leading Technically Approved Supplier List (TASL) process in GM. Define Cold Plates and TIM performance requirements according to Component Technical Specification (CTS), Subsystem Technical Specification (SSTS), Vehicle Technical Specifications (VTS) and certification compliance with regulations (U.S. and China) defined by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and China NCAP crash and durability standards, and Insurance Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) ratings. Participate in Rechargeable Energy Storage System (RESS) integration team meetings and support battery pack engineering designs and generate technical solutions for BEV programs. Create battery pack cold plate and TIM Bills of Material (BOMs) as battery pack Cold Plate and TIM BOM owner.

Additional Description
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field, and three (3) years as an Engineer, or related role. Must also have experience with: designing, integrating, and releasing passenger vehicle Battery Pack, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) or CRFM module, including heat exchangers, using Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Vismockup tools.
