This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta, Austin, Detroit, Milford, Pontiac or Warren, you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at a minimum

The Role
The primary responsibility of the Strategy and Planning Demand Forecasting Analyst is to complete critical demand forecasting activities within the strategy and planning function.

  • Includes tracking and monitoring monthly demand forecasting metrics.
  • Maintaining forecasting metric dashboards using Power BI.
  • Creating documentation for forecasting tasks.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for demand forecasting and provide support to other areas within the supply chain, such as backorder recovery, accessories, supplier management, and inventory management.
  • In-depth analysis of inventory and forecasting data will be conducted to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provide day-to-day business and technical support to leaders, assist in the development and implementation of business tools and processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to develop creative solutions.
  • The ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and effectively communicate and present to leadership is essential.
  • Handle forecast adjustments for complex capacity issues
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data analysis, workflow creation, processes, and documentation.

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred Major: Supply Chain Management / Engineering / Business / Data Analytics / MIS / CIS / Statistics / Economics) or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, particularly in unusual and difficult situations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Mainframe, Oracle SQL, Power BI, Python, Maestro, and KNIME.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Detailed knowledge of supply chain concepts and understanding of interdependencies between different groups.
  • Proven ability to work independently, take initiative in work and implementing innovative strategies to tackle problems.
  • Anticipates business needs and is comfortable dealing with ambiguity.

Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.

  • The salary range for this role is ($85,100 - $135,900). The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
  • Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
