We are seeking a results-driven CIP Processing Senior Manager to lead the critical CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) launch for the T1XX program at Orion Assembly. At the outset of the CIP launch, we face an aggressive timeline to Start of Regular Production (SORP), elevating the risk to production readiness
What You'll Do:

- Lead cross-departmental forums to align on launch milestones, risk mitigation plans, and corrective actions.
- Serve as the on-site escalation point for technical challenges, providing decisive leadership during critical launch phases.
- Drive workforce training initiatives and culture-building programs in partnership with UAW representatives.
- Build the CIP Processing organization from the ground up, establishing a solid foundation across GM's six operational pillars and all Body PCPs.
- Own Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Mean Cycles Between Failures (MCBF) at simulated rates, designing and implementing systems to track, analyze, and improve these metrics.
- Drive flawless execution of highly automated equipment-over 2,000 robots, 710 weld guns, 146 dispense systems, 27 AGCs, 915 vision systems, and the largest fleet of AMRs/AFTs in our network.
- Lead functional domains including Joining/Dispense, Dimensional, Vision, Robotics, Controls, and integration with key automation suppliers such as Fanuc.
- Collaborate directly with Paint, General Assembly, and Quality departments, plus executive leadership, to ensure cross-functional alignment and rapid issue resolution.
- Foster strong UAW partnerships, co-building the team and ensuring compliance with collective-bargaining agreements.
- Champion GM's core behaviors-Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment-throughout launch activities.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive leadership in automotive launch or high-volume manufacturing, including building teams from scratch.
- Demonstrated expertise in dimensional measurement, automated welding/joining, controls architectures, bin-picking systems, and Fanuc robotics.
