Description
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Michigan Global Tech Center three times per week, at minimum or other frequency dictated by the business.
Relocation:

The Role:
The Service Solutions Business Intelligence team is responsible for developing analytics-driven solutions to help GM digital functions achieve their business goals. The team is responsible for applied, project-based solutions, focusing on the dealership's service lane customer journey. These projects include opportunities to solve problems using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization.
The Business Analyst possesses understanding of the customer journey, measurement, and strategic insight. They must be able to work efficiently with large data sets to derive insights and answer business questions through a data driven approach. They will work cross-functionally and collaboratively, leading data and analytic integration across web/platform operations and performance related analysis and modeling.

- Proactively work with key stakeholders to help them identify OKRs for key customer-journey funnel activities
- Support digital team - Strategy, Business Operations, Service Communications, Service Events - and CCA with a variety of analytical projects.
- Develop interactive dashboards with intuitive visualizations
- Highly experienced and creative with visualizations
- Clearly communicate analysis and recommendations to executive leadership
- Establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams to formulate business opportunities and validate OKRs
- Collaborate with business, IT, and analytics community to capture, prioritize and document data analytic requirements and drive measurable results.
- Help create work related to strategy, roadmap, critical metric definition, reporting and dashboards.
- Deliver projects by managing schedules, monitoring progress, and preparing status reports.
Additional Description
Yours Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- 5 years' experience working with multi-functional teams to develop measurable, high-impact data analytics solutions
- Demonstrated cross-functional understanding of digital platforms and measurement, including online, mobile, social and emerging technologies
- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
- Highly collaborative work style with exceptional listening and communication skills, and the ability to work closely and iteratively with analytic modelers, business subject matter experts, and other teams
- Proficient in project management and oversight with the ability to break down complex problems and projects into manageable goals
- Strong business domain knowledge - business analytics, marketing data, automotive and understanding the exponential change within this domain is paramount to success
- Proven thought-leadership in developing data-based strategic and tactical recommendations
- A consumer-centric, results-driven mindset
- Strong knowledge of service lane data and the ability to transform it to make strategic decisions.
- Experience in data visualization and statistical modeling tools (e.g., Power BI, Python, R, SQL)
- You have a deep understanding of BI tools: Excel, Reporting Tool Consumption (Cognos, Tableau)
- Proficiency with online and offline data
