This role is categorized as HYBRID . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM - Cadillac Tower three times per week, at minimum. This job may be eligible for relocation benefits.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Brand Marketing Asset Specialist who will play a key role within the Chevrolet Brand Marketing Strategy team. This team leads the advertising, brand experience, and overall brand positioning for Chevrolet. The Asset Specialist's strong organization, diligence, project management, and can-do attitude will make them a critical and valued member of the Chevy Marketing organization.
You will be responsible for managing the organization, storage and distribution of digital assets used in marketing. This involves collaboration with various creative agency partners and internal teams, in addition to autonomous work. This role requires a detailed-oriented individual who can handle a large volume of assets, ensure they are easily accessible to the enterprise team and maintain consistency in taxonomy and tagging. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital asset management (DAM) systems, excellent communication skills, and experience in a marketing environment. The ideal candidate will also be a strong project manager who can assist with various marketing creative processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the digital asset management system, ensuring all marketing content, including images, videos, graphics, and documents, are properly cataloged, tagged, and organized for easy access by the internal GM teams and partners
- Work closely with the brand marketing team to distribute digital assets across various channels, ensuring that the correct versions and formats are used
- Download and distribute data models to GM team members and partners
- Manage inquiries on current, work-in-progress, and future asset availability amongst GM and partners
- Ensure all assets meet brand standards and guidelines before storage and distribution. This includes reviewing and approving product and safety tagging, as well as, usage rights
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and other stakeholders to manage the lifecycle of digital assets from creation to archiving
- Help develop and maintain metadata standards for digital assets to improve searchability and organization within the DAM system
- Continuously assess and improve asset management processes, including opportunities to simplify and streamline
- Provide training and/or guidance to the brand team and partners on the use of the DAM system, location of assets, and best practices for asset management
- Build and manage relationships both internally and externally i.e.; CRM, agencies, GM partners, etc.
Additional Description
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree required; Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in digital asset management, content management, marketing project management, marketing analytics, or a related role
- Proficiency in digital asset management systems (i.e. Knowledge of metadata standards and best practices for asset management)
- Technologically savvy (i.e. interest and basic experience with AI)
- Strong understanding of marketing processes and content production workflows
- Excellent project management, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Self-motivated and autonomous, with a strong focus on identifying solutions
