Work Arrangement:
This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Milford Proving Grounds in Milford, MI three times per week, at minimum.

The Role:
We are looking for a driven and inclusive ADAS Advanced Integration Engineering Group Manager!
In this role, the individual will provide technical leadership and guide the team through the development of feature stand up and advanced technical projects for Active Safety and Automated Driving. This position requires a capable leader to lead a group of high performing engineers in the ADAS domain. As an engineering manager, you will have the opportunity to set direction, exercise highly independent judgment, and provide creative solution development with minimal guidance.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead personal and professional development of team members, hire new talent, develop objectives, and conduct performance evaluations.


  • Develop and foster a collaborative and cohesive team


  • Provide technical mentoring and guidance


  • Independently lead global and/or GMNA multi-functional teams on development activities, new methods or initiatives without defined procedures


  • Assign and balance engineering workload and coordinate integration activities and priorities driven from the ADAS DRIVE Org, Product Org, and SMT's projects


  • Support and develop strategic and critical initiatives to use new technology, solutions, releases, tools etc. to enable improved quality, efficiency and timing objectives.


  • Adhere to all safety precautions and requirements, and treat safety as the top priority during all work activities


  • Keep abreast of new technology and competitive products

Additional Description

Your Skills & Abilities:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related engineering degree


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience


  • Minimum of 5 years of vehicle performance, calibration, electrical/electronic systems, feature integration experience, or equivalent


  • Understanding of Global Vehicle Development Process


  • High level of subjective evaluation skills with the ability to accurately rate vehicle performance with respect to autonomous and automated driving systems


  • Understanding of hardware design and failure modes


  • In-depth knowledge of hardware and software interfaces


  • High level of interpersonal skills with strong team building behaviors


  • High level of oral and written communication skills


  • Possess a valid driver license with the ability to operate and drive test vehicles


  • DFSS Black Belt

What Will Give You A Competitive Edge:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field


  • 3+ years of experience with Active Safety/Autonomous technologies


  • Previous people leader experience
