What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
This role is for a public accounting professional who is looking for career growth, requiring independent judgment and decision-making on significant accounting matters as well as experience working for a multinational company operating under USGAAP and IFRS guidance to join our South America regional finance team.
This person should demonstrate experience to manage processes and procedures relevant to his/her work area with the ability to exercise sufficient decision-making to identify and propose solutions to leadership.
Is expected for this Senior Accounting Analyst to independently identify and apply appropriate company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues under general supervision with limited guidance and direction.

We are seeking a professional with developed communication skills to engage in daily interactions with leaders and/or peers from different functional groups to drive solutions to problems and to reach agreements for his/her own area in situations of moderate complexity.
This position should impact our organization by proposing new initiatives and delivering solutions, driving cross functional efforts, and recommending opportunities for process improvements to leadership & proactively anticipating needs within the own area.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform detailed variance analysis of financial results versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities in collaboration with the FP&A team.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Assist in internal and external audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, Operations, Legal, IT, HR) on business initiatives and projects.
- Mentor junior analysts and support staff, providing training and development guidance.
Additional Description
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor Degree: Accounting, Economy, Business Administration or related areas
- Advanced or Fluent English
- Accounting knowledge and experience,
- Knowledge in SAP
- Solid knowledg in Excel
What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preference Qualifications)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Desktop automation, Knime, Python
- Power Platform
- MBA or Postgraduate studies in Systems Analysis, Information Technology, Data Analytics is desired
- For candidates in Brazil, Spanish is a plus
- For candidates in Argentina, Portuguese is a plus
