Work Arrangement:
Hybrid - This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Oshawa Elevation Centre three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business].

The Role:
As a co-op student on the Dealer Organization and Network Planning Team, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the execution and coordination of dealer network initiatives at General Motors Canada related to dealers' franchise agreements, financial reporting and other key projects. This role is ideal for a student who is a strong communicator, detailed orientated, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We work closely with financial statements, legal support, and everything in-between, so this is a great role for someone interested in learning about a wide range of business topics.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and execution of a new Dealer Operating Report system for GM Canada's dealers by assisting in the development and testing of financial reports to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency. Contribute to the creation of dealer-facing communications and training materials.
- Assist in updating the Vehicle Export Compliance policy and a help build a database for tracking and reporting this critical data to leadership and various stakeholders
- Contribute to team operations by helping manage meeting content, notes, and action items
- Help develop and maintain data dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel and Power BI to support data driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for national dealer network initiatives.
- Perform special studies, training sessions and presentations related to the Image of GM Canada Dealers
- Complete special assignments and administrative tasks as required by members of the Dealer Organization and Network Planning Team
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, curious and eager to learn new tools and processes
- Organized and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact with Senior Leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset

Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program or in 3rd or 4th year of study in Business, Accounting, Data Analysis, or a related field
- Available for a 12-month term
