Work Arrangement :
Onsite: This role is categorized as onsite. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Charlotte, NC on a full-time basis.
The Team:
We are seeking engineering interns to do hands-on work that would have the opportunity to add directly to the bottom line of our culture and our company. You would be responsible for engineering work within the Motorsports Group for the NASCAR racing series. Work may include design work in NX and Teamcenter, rig testing, parts design and the like. Work involves leadership ability, critical thinking and communication skills. Exercises independent determinations with mentorship from supervisors.
What You'll Do:
- Transitioning cad models from universal step files to NX and Tc models within the GM environment
- Creating design parameters within models for further refinement
- Proactively address customer issues or requests, at the direction of your managers
- Assist others in the GM Motorsports group with any projects that may come up
- Frequent contact with others outside the work group
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2029
- Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week
- Willing to work in a race shop and racetrack environment

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill sophisticated subjects to a wider audience
- Emerging partnership and teamwork skills and ability to learn from and share knowledge with co-workers in a rapidly moving environment
- High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, takes initiative/self-directed
- Evidence of strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability and trust
- Deliver new and creative solutions to sophisticated problems
