Our work depends on a Junior Front End Developer joining our team to support a GDIT program that we are the prime on and is located at Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Junior Front End Developer, you will have the opportunity to design and enhance various mission critical UIs like geospatial awareness tools using ReactJS due to rapid growth in data processing requirements.

Junior Front End Developers will work with cutting-edge technologies including:

Technologies: React 19, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, Microservices, AWS, Docker, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Sass (SCSS)

Tools: Yarn, Node, VSCode, Vite, GitLab

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, develop and support production user facing applications in support of mission objectives.

  • Provide ongoing development, maintenance, support, and software enhancements in existing systems and platforms.

  • Troubleshoot problems and provide customer support for software systems and application issues.

  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

  • Work alongside other engineers on the team to sustain and advance our organization’s capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.

  • No demonstrated experience is required.

  • Familiarity with React or other similar Front End Frameworks.

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
