HOW AN INFORMATION SECURITY ANALYST SENIOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
  • Responsible for implementation and maintenance, such as platform and software patching, of operating system and related software in support of cyber related activities.
  • Establishes and implements standards for computer operations, consistent with documented customer cyber policies, for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters.
  • Monitors system resources, aids in the design, and implements backup and recovery processes, and troubleshoots system issues and outages.
  • Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries.
  • Automates processes to streamline monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance capabilities.



WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● Education: Bachelor's degree (3 yrs additional experience in lieu of degree)
● Required Experience: 3+ years of related experience
● Security Clearance Level: A current Secret clearance is required.
● Location: Washington, DC
● US Citizenship Required

The likely salary range for this position is $104,179 - $140,949. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
