Manager, Product Operations (Reporting and Analytics)

GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed, and results oriented Manager of Product Operations (Reporting and Analytics.)

In this role, the Product Operations Reporting and Analytics lead will be responsible for partnering with Product area leadership to manage the ongoing analytical needs, providing metrics and pertinent insights. S/he will be responsible for ongoing proactive data reporting and analysis to monitor business outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and standardize communication tools within their domain.

This position is a hybrid role, and it is required to be on-site 3 days a week at one of the following locations:

  • Washington, DC
  • San Jose/San Francisco, CA
  • Fredericksburg/ Richmond, VA
  • Dallas, TX
  • Chicago, IL
  • Seattle, WA
  • New York, NY
  • Indianapolis, IN

  • Partners with Product area leadership to translate needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for data visualization and insights.
  • Transforms data into useful information and insights tailored to leadership needs through storyboarding and data visualization.
  • Identifies and implements process, data, reporting, and automation improvements for their domain.
  • Supports standardization of data sources, reporting, and valuation methodology in conjunction with overall product analytics lead.
  • Identifies training needs to ensure adoption of defined processes, interaction models, and tools in their area.
  • Stays up to date on industry best practices and emerging trends in data reporting and analytics.
  • Becomes an integral part of their product area to assess analytics needs and develop structured plans to address those.
  • Partners with Domain leaders and finance to monitor Product budget, forecasting, and resource planning.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 3 years of professional data visualization, reporting automation, and analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience with data analysis using Python, R, Spark or SQL.
  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools using PowerBI or Tableau
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change.
  • Familiar with organizational maturity and related transformation.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills; comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills with ability to "tell the story."
Annual Salary
$86,000.00 - $154,000.00
The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
