Roles and Responsibilities:
Role Summary:
- Assemble electrical components and systems (harnesses, sensors, igniters, leads and exciters)
- Cut, strip, and crimp wire as required
- Performs visual & basic measurement inspection of parts subsequent to assembly steps
- Performs functional tests using a variety of equipment to verify accuracy and functionality (i.e. electrical, helium, and leak tests as required)
Essential Responsibilities
In addition, you will:
- Follow written work instructions, processes, and procedures
- Be trained to obtain all required certifications of department
- Work with hazardous materials
- Use a wide variety of hand and/or power tools as required
- Ability to do weight measuring as required
- Read and interpret dimensional measurements as required (calipers, and scales)
- Be cross-train as required
Qualifications/Requirements
- Actively participate in a teaming environment that uses lean and 5S practices to improve products and processes
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Basic ERP skills
- Basic written and verbal communications skills
Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 25 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations
- High School diploma or GED
Desired Characteristics:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Soldering and electronics manufacturing experience
- Assembly and Braze experience
- Dimensional and electrical training
- Excellent attendance history
- Ability to produce error free products
- Strives to meet or exceed job requirements
