Job Description Summary
The Maintenance & Sustainment Test Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the planning and execution of GE Aerospace Edison Works engine test support capabilities. This position supports all maintenance, logistics, and sustainment activities to support engines testing using an IPS framework. The IPS Test Manager is expected to plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, stand-up, and oversee execution of onsite test engine support. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop planning and oversee the execution of all Integrated Product Support (IPS) activities required to enable the maintenance and sustainment of propulsion systems during test campaigns
- Provide input to subject matter expertise and author technical documents such as Test and Evaluation Master Plans and Test Maintenance Plans
- Collaborate closely with Edison Works organizations, including Reliability Engineering, Maintainability Engineering, Supportability Engineering, Technical Publications and Support Equipment teams to identify capabilities required to meet test requirements
- Participates in business case studies and requirements definition for establishment of engine maintenance on test assets
- Derives functional requirements from internal and external stakeholders, assesses technical documentation, builds use case definitions, and drives priority with cross-functional teams
- Manage schedules and budgets for all test maintenance and sustainment activities
- Identify and coordinate resource requirements
- Identifies requirement gaps and process shortfalls and takes initiative to solve problems
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly management oversight utilizing GE Aerospace's FLIGHT DECK principles to drive team progress and achieve defined program milestones and objectives
- Leads functional teams and/or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and complexity

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college + Minimum of 5 years of relevant propulsion maintenance, sustainment, logistics experience (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of propulsion maintenance, sustainment, logistics experience )
- Ability to develop strategies, planning activities, and processes with minimum oversight
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in product, program, project or operations management related to the role responsibilities
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant propulsion maintenance, sustainment, logistics experience
- This role is restricted to U.S. Citizens
- Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
- Ability to work full-time, on-site at GE Aerospace headquarters in Cincinnati, OH; due to security requirements there are very limited work from home or remote opportunities

Desired Characteristics
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 4 years of military or DoD related industry experience
- Strong understanding of U.S. military organizations, maintenance and sustainment processes and procedures, and the DoD's Integrated Product Support elements
- Experience in either developmental or operational test experience
- Demonstrated ability to interface and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills i.e., PMP
- Current / Active US Secret security clearance
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
