Role Summary-

This position is responsible for providing accurate and continuous test data through the setup, oversight, and sustainment of all test-related data software systems and the physical components required for their proper operation.

Responsibilities-

  • Test Setup- Perform data systems setup in accordance with documented instructions, manage component calibration, coordinate installation of additional equipment or test instructions with subject matter experts.
  • Testing- Constantly monitor data acquisition systems during engine test to ensure data integrity, verify capture of required parameters, and confirm information is being sent to databank.
  • Data Management - Maintain digital files for data systems, manage and organize file database.
  • Troubleshooting- Quickly identify when parameters are not reading appropriately and assist with the investigation, diagnosis, and alteration of affected instrumentation or systems- elevating issues to proper resources, as needed.
  • Digital Programs Management- Setup HMI systems, confirm proper integration between engine control and data platforms, assist in troubleshooting all associated software issues.
  • Calibrations- Understand operational forecast to proactively schedule calibrations, ensuring instrumentation is current and will not jeopardize test outcomes; update curves as needed; investigate out-of-tolerance readings and their effect on affiliated data integrity and equipment.
  • Observe safety practices and procedures.

Required Qualifications-

  • Associate's Degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and a minimum of 4 years in related career field.

Preferred Qualifications-

  • Certification in network management (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft)
