Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
As an Aviation EEDP, you will:
- Work on at least 3 rotations in various engineering sub-sections over 2-3 years providing different work experiences.
- Receive technical trainings, deliver weekly home works (average 10 hours study requires), mentorship, and coaching from world-class technologists and experienced technical managers.
- Improve your soft skills with various leadership development trainings.
- Have the opportunity to earn credit towards an MS degree in Engineering in Istanbul Technical University.
- Grow your technical expertise in your chosen field and expand your skills in new areas
- As an Edison Engineer in TTC, job assignments are primarily focused on Turbomachinery Design, you have the opportunity to work on a variety of high priority teams, potentially including mechanical hardware design (such as Airfoil, Structure, Rotor, Combustor), aeromechanics, thermal system design, stress and life analysis, manufacturing, repair, additive, and more.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Material Science Engineering similar, or similar disciplines
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Maximum 3 years professional experience
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing
- GPA greater than or equal to 3.0/4.0 overall
- Strong dedication to a career in technology and a real passion and curiosity for engineering
- Demonstrated an analytical approach to problem solving, learning agility
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms
- Demonstrated and enthusiastic leadership and teambuilding skills
- Strong team and interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment
