ROLES & RESPONISIBILITIES:

• Is responsible to track and trace material's physical flows.
• Reviews and verifies quantities received against schedules, bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, shipping documents and checks consistencies with ASN (Advanced shipping notification)
• Coordinates any efforts with Logistics/Production/Quality departments to ensure accurate material information is entered into SAP
• Works on overdue recovery planning
• Works closely with Production Planner to ensure accurate material consumption and inventory accuracy
• Verifies component or raw material availability before releasing short term production plan to the production floor
• Reviews required planning exception notices and reacts by taking action that will correct any discrepancies between Master Production Schedule requirements and known issues
• Notifies Production Planner and Planning Leader of material situation that affects the fulfillment of the production plan
• Interacts with GVP (Global Vendor Planner) in order to expedite and de-expedite parts and raw materials to fulfil daily production schedule's change,
• Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
• Drives quick solutions in case of sudden issues (quality issue or stock loss).
• Arranges and tracks special freights from Suppliers in case are needed. Shares these decisions and information with GVP
• Updates database with root cause and any relevant details of special freights once arranged
• Is responsible to provide and improve information flows with GVP and Supply Base.
• Strictly works with GVP in order to optimize inventory levels
• Identifies excess, slow move and obsolete inventory issues and resolves them along with Physical Flow and Inventory Analyst
• Interfaces with Supply Base to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory
• Assists Planning Leader in resolving problems concerning over shipments, shortages, engineering changes, and cancellation of orders
• Provides support for the production transfers and the introduction of new reference points in production
• Provides the issuance of reports, advising appropriate management function of status of parts flow or lack there of
• Participates daily in the logistics meetings and any other necessary meetings and call conferences
• Participates weekly in the production planning meetings and ensures the elaboration of the necessary data
• Knows and works with specific planning instruments: MPS, MRP, SIOP
• Operates in SAP and MHS according to the existing procedures

• university degree (technical field, logistics)
• min. 2 years of experience in similar position
• experience inworking with customers, sales or logistics in automotive industry is preferable
• basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• knowledge of SAP, MHS modules, MS Excel, MS Word
• basic knowledge of production plan and inventory
• fluent English
• ability to identify and solve problems in time
• ability to work well under pressure
• ability to work in team
• strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
• good organizational skills with attention to detail
