The Internal Communications Lead is mainly accountable for leading employee engagement initiatives and supporting functions with their internal communications efforts. Among the major responsibilities are: the strategy, development and implementation of the global WeCare4 Network, the company's major employee engagement initiative; managing the global site communications network and supporting overall employee engagement efforts through various global campaigns; acting as Communications business partner for HR, ISC, Legal and Aftermarket functions.
Key Job Areas and Responsibilities:
- WeCare4 Network Management
Strategy development of the expansion of the WeCare4 Network pilot into a global initiative; full management and leadership of the network through local Champions and Committees; network's MOS development, annual plan and implementation ownership, defining and meeting KPIs. Includes developing Champion's collaborative tool, training and engaging them; manage charitable budget, track it; develop metrics reporting, organize yearly workshops.

- Communications Business Partner
Communications business partners for HR, ISC, Legal (incl. HSE) and Aftermarket. Manage related organization announcements and the global org announcement process. Upon functional needs and requests (reorganizations, special initiatives, etc) understand needs, identify communications requirements, support in: the development of plan in alignment with other corporate global initiatives, crafting of messages, materials development, branding compliance, etc. Run the global yearly HSE Week campaign in close collaboration of HSE. Measure campaigns' results and report back.
- Internal events Support
Support in all aspects of the Garrett Senior Leadership Meeting (GSLM) yearly meeting (venue, activities, tools, materials, etc); support with content development and organization of the yearly WeCare4 workshop; Quarterly Town Halls support and Director's back up.
- People Management
Supervise Communications Administrator in all duties, including Global Comms teams budget management, Pipera site communications activities. As WeCare4 Network Leader, ensure Champions drive local initiatives successfully and in full alignment.
Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages cooperation and collective achievement, transcending traditional reporting structures.
We are looking for a new colleague that has:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, HR or related field.
- Minimum 4-5 years of expertise at other similar companies with a communications job with similar types of responsibilities. Minimum experience in contributions management and events organization.
- Experience working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams in a global organization, and managing agency resources.
- Experience in organizing internal or external events is considered a plus.
- Previous experience in managing people (directly and / or indirectly) is not mandatory, but will be considered a plus.
