The India FP&A Leader role is responsible for handling end to end ISC finance, Business FP&A, Supply Base Finance for Garrett India business. Key responsibility areas include Monthly leadership reporting , Preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Rolling forecast cycles, Build Strategic Financial Plan, Plant SRO, Conversion cost deep dive analysis, business financial OL, business scenario analysis, Material Cost deep dive analysis, Matix tracking, Material Margin Deep dive , Risk management etc. This is a people manager role is expected to work very closely with Site Finance Leader in driving business results as per set goals.

• Conversion cost tracking & reporting, analysis
• ISC productivity tracking & reporting & analysis
• Material Cost deep dive, Metal Inflation, FX tracking, Material productivity tracking , CPT / MPT working, Matix reporting,
• Partner with Supply Base Team to support decision making and monitor performance of India Procurement through insightful analysis and reporting
• Business partnering to drive results (Operational excellence)
• Preparing Annual Operating Plan, Rolling forecast, Strap for the Plant operations
• Risk management on Plant Conversion cost (SRO mindset)
• Support Plant Leadership Team with key financial analysis to enable decision making. (Make v/s Buy, Lease V/s Own, insource / outsource, Capex decisions) etc.
• Contribute to special projects including cost drives (e.g. Fixed Cost optimization, Conversion cost benchmarking, Capex reduction drives, productivity initiatives etc.)
• Support in global leadership visits.
2. Managing Business FP&A responsibilities
• Monthly financial reporting for Business Leaders , support MIS , Active contribution & participation in Preparing Business Level Annual Operating Plan(AOP) , Rolling forecast
Strategic Financial Planning
business financial OL, Risk management , scenario analysis etc.
• Support driving Material Margin Improvement through robust MOS, MM deep dive analysis (OEM + IAM + OES), business partnership to drive right actions
• Overall business level risk management & mitigation planning
• Business Partnering for Product Pricing, Discount management , Support PQF Financial analysis
• Contribute to special projects including cost drives (e.g. Fixed Cost optimization, Conversion cost benchmarking, Capex reduction drives, productivity initiatives etc.)
• Support in global leadership visits, Townhall presentations etc.
3.People skill developments - Mentoring
• Develop FP&A analyst to strengthen FP&A function, improve quality of analytics,
• Develop Automation & digitization in analytics. Bring standardization in reporting.
Minimum Qualification : Chartered Accountant + Additional qualification of MBA finance from reputed institute or CMA is preferred.
Experience : Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Plant Finance & Business FP&A preferably in Manufacturing sector (Automotive experience will be an added advantage).
Key Skills :
In depth knowledge on Financial Accounting, Cost & Management Accounting and reporting
• Strong understanding of ERP environment - SAP , exposure to HFM module will be added advantage
• Strong analytical & computation skills, advanced excel, PPT skills are preferred.
• Strong organizational and Excellent communication skills, both written & oral
• Strong knowledge of key accounting concepts, GAAP, SOX controls
• Ability to perform within tight deadlines
• Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
• Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
• Problem solving and root cause identification skills
