About the Role

Gap Inc is seeking an SSO Engineer, with 5 years of Identity and Access Management Experience. you will support the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions for Gap Inc.'s internal and customer-facing applications. You will work closely with IT security, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure smooth and secure authentication experiences across the enterprise.
What You'll Do

• Assist in configuring, integrating, and maintaining SSO solutions (Microsoft Entra ID/Azure AD, Ping Identity etc.).
• Support authentication and identity federation using protocols like SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP.
• Troubleshoot SSO-related issues affecting users, applications, and system performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to onboard new applications to SSO and IAM platforms.
• Monitor authentication logs for security threats and performance optimization.
• Assist in automating IAM processes using PowerShell, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Document system configurations, troubleshooting steps, and best practices for SSO implementations.

• 3-4 years of experience in IT security, identity and access management (IAM), or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with SSO integrations in an enterprise environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of IAM and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
• Familiarity with SSO platforms (Azure AD, Ping).
• Some experience with Active Directory (AD) and LDAP.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

• Understanding of Zero Trust Security and IAM best practices.
• Basic knowledge of cloud identity and security (Azure or Google Cloud).
