About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations of the company on a global scale. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient and effective movement of goods, optimize supply chain processes, and drive overall operational excellence. Your strategic vision, strong leadership, and industry expertise will be critical in shaping the company's logistics strategy and achieving business objectives.
What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global logistics strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals and objectives
  • Establish, implement, and oversee transportation activities globally, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods while meeting customer requirements.
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics operations, such as on-time delivery, cost per unit, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
  • Implement and maintain robust logistics processes, systems, and technologies to enable efficient tracking, reporting, and visibility of shipments throughout the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sourcing, finance, brands, and procurement, domestic transportation to optimize supply chain processes and enhance overall operational efficiency.
  • Identify and evaluate potential 3PL/ 4PL logistics partners and establish strong relationships to ensure reliable and efficient transportation and consolidation services.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation in logistics operations.
  • Provide strategic direction to direct reports on establishing, planning and implementation of production and employee engagement to foster a high performing culture, to positively impact overall results.
  • Drive accountability and best practices while leveraging support functions to optimize operational performance while meeting budgeted goals
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics management, including significant experience in a leadership role with global responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations, international shipping, transportation modes, and supply chain management principles.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant tools to drive operational excellence.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks.
