The Post Sales Events Project Management team is looking for a successful candidate to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with and leading processes and workflows setup for post sales fulfillment for Ventures and Gannett events, promotions and special sections. Leveraging the project management tool, Smartsheet. The candidate will work collaboratively with multiple internal teams overseeing the day-to-day coordination of all post sales fulfillment information for events, promotions and special sections related to print and digital advertising and project intake setup/fulfillment. Excellent communication skills are crucial in this role for delivering post sales fulfillment information during sales kick-off calls and to other centralized teams throughout the company. Keeping up to date and accurate information from point of sale through implementation will be critical for program successes.
The candidate will be the "know it all" for all assigned projects and markets, becoming the person internal teams reach out to for answers. Thinking "outside the box" will be key in helping develop efficient and standardized workflows for all teams involved. With Gannett consisting of more than 260 daily media organizations across 47 states, the pace is fast, the deadlines are strict and the impact far-reaching.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Using Smartsheet to manage processes, workflows and automations set in place for all fulfillment teams for Gannett & Ventures events, promotion sand special sections.
- Collaborate efforts of all post sales fulfillment pieces from point of sale through implementation
- Juggling multiple priorities with a keen eye and attention to detail in a deadline driven environment.
- Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate assigned company leaders and team members.
- Monitor and assign resources appropriately to streamline project efficiencies
- Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed-escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans

Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in marketing, communications, or a related field. The successful candidate should also possess the following:
- Knowledge of project management system, Smartsheet, is a huge plus!
- Above average project management skills, superior organizational skills and deadline-driven.
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced team environment.
- Be a creative problem solver with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to follow-up and follow through and possess a strong work ethic.
- Be detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture by being proactive in making quick, effective decisions in a fast-paced environment with favorable outcomes.
- Must possess a positive, can-do attitude and collaborative ability.
- Demonstrated disposition to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.
- A diplomatic and tactful approach when dealing with multiple teams across the Gannett company
- Excellent customer service skills
- The desire to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- The willingness to embrace a startup atmosphere and wear multiple hats
- The ability to think outside-of-the-box

The hourly rate for this role will range between $16.00 and $21.00. Base compensation is reflective of many factors, including, but not limited to, the market in which one lives/works, individual education level, skills, certifications and experience. Note: variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable
