The Top Accounts team works with high-value clients supporting the top revenue potential within the company. Our managed portfolio covers 7-8 figure annual marketing plans for clients and typically includes a corporate entity marketing approach that complements individual marketing plans for local or regional operators of these multi-location businesses. Within our vast suite of solutions, designated product specialists, media buyers, analytics data engineers, and campaign managers collaborate with the Growth + Innovation team within the Top Accounts channel to drive significant business growth for our Top Accounts clients through innovative marketing strategies.

By synthesizing input from cross-functional collaborators and applying audience-based research, the Brand Strategist delivers strategic recommendations through data visualization, multi-tactic ad design strategy, and creative marketing platform funnels. These solutions support sales and client retention efforts for our Top Accounts, driving measurable results and revenue growth.
Working closely with advertising sales executives, brand managers, and product specialists, this role builds best-in-class proposals and enablement materials, with keen attention to creative storytelling through data. As a subject matter expert for multi-location business entities, the Brand Strategist also provides thought leadership and equips teams with the tools and insights needed to succeed with growth and scalability in mind.
Key Responsibilities
As a strategic partner to sales and marketing teams, the Brand Strategist plays a critical role in transforming insights both pre-sale and post-sale into high-impact, multi-tactic marketing strategies for multi-location businesses and their respective corporate entities. This role blends analytical thought leadership, creative development, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver data-driven strategies that fuel client growth and measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with sales executives, brand managers, and product specialists to understand client business needs and translate them into compelling, multi-market marketing campaigns for Top Account clients.
- Analyzing research platform data to uncover growth opportunities and apply insights across digital, linear, traditional, mobile, and emerging media channels.
- Leading client-facing presentations and proposals, integrating data and strategic guidance to align marketing tactics with business goals.
- Developing insight-driven sales enablement materials and sharing best practices across the Top Accounts team and broader organization.
- Crafting custom growth strategies using audience, market, and competitive data-visualized through pre-sale and post-sale materials for audits, QBRs, and annual reviews.
- Exploring and testing new advertising technologies for potential implementation and scalability.
- Supporting training initiatives to help Top Accounts teams adopt new technologies and improve marketing attribution capabilities.
- Building and nurturing relationships with key Top Accounts clients through virtual and in-person meetings (with occasional travel), while guiding the development of partnership enablement materials.
- Leveraging national and local research tools to compile and analyze data that informs marketing strategy.
- Presenting research, ad concepts, and strategic recommendations to clients with clear rationale behind each multi-tactic approach.
- Partnering with Top Accounts leadership to generate new growth ideas and build strategies that maximize revenue across multi-location, franchise, and national brand clients.
- Producing creative briefs and collaborating with creative teams to develop messaging tailored to Top Accounts clients within a scalable framework through design concept teams and our respective creative production warehouses.
Qualifications
The ideal Brand Strategist is a creative and pragmatic leader with a strong grasp of both digital and traditional marketing. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on campaign result analysis to drive measurable business outcomes. They bring a proven track record of delivering revenue growth in competitive business to business (B2B) settings and are energized by innovation, collaboration, and scalable business growth.
We're looking for someone who brings:
- A bachelor's degree of higher in marketing, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience/training)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, media planning, digital marketing, market research, creative storytelling, and/or sales management, with an emphasis in client-facing story development and execution
- Strong creative proficiency in data visualization through Microsoft Office Suite and Canva, particularly in presentation and leave behind formats
- A solid foundation in market research and its practical application to marketing strategy
- Expertise in utilizing research data aggregation platforms to uncover key points that drive foundational and growth full-funnel marketing strategies (preferred, but not required)
- Innovative strategic thinking and technical marketing skills, with a deep understanding of digital and traditional media
- Firm understanding of how digital, traditional, and emerging marketing solutions drive business results
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience developing training and sales enablement materials to high-performing teams
- A reputation as a thought leader in digital and traditional marketing who stays ahead of industry trends and emerging ad technologies
- Sharp analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail when crafting marketing presentations
In addition to these key characteristics, creative design background is a supplementary skill that increases adoption of story development, so skills in creative design and visual storytelling will be highly considered for this role.

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $43,000and $75,000. Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union representation, if applicable.
