Overview

The role of the HRA Account Manager is to retain all current HRA clients and build strong relationships with key decision makers and staff that that perform administration at each client. Grow the Branch book of business through internal wholesaling within Gallagher and with current clients, such as AIG. As well as to actively participate in the bidding and proposal process for new business opportunities that emerge for current and prospective clients outside of the Northwest, and to grow the program through individual sales results.

How you'll make an impact

  • Execute the HRA client service model for assigned clients, including all in-person and remote service and document, as required, in AMP and DMS
  • Travel, as required, for client service and relationship management
  • Utilize the CCC for all client and PT inquiries requiring research or review of account or plan information and route inquiries to the CCC for handling as often as able
  • Identify possible conference opportunities and create a business case with specific goals, objectives and set meetings or speaking opportunities and present to manager for advance approval
  • Attend all approved conferences on behalf of Gallagher's HRA team
  • Prepare or assist in preparation of all board materials for HealthInvest trust clients
  • Attend HRA trust client meetings, as directed
  • Review and refresh HRA Onboarding materials annually
  • Closely study and review all prospective client governing documents and conduct research on plan design, fee schedules, etc. to be an expert on each new client
  • Partner with management and senior consultants on pricing new business and present pricing models to management for final review and approval
  • Lead all RFP responses and prospect proposal deliverables
  • Lead all new client onboarding (exception is for small clients that will be managed by the SGSC)
  • Lead all incoming and outgoing plan transfers for new business
  • Critically study the national sales market for account-based plans; begin growing the HRA team’s knowledge regarding competitors and update competitor intel
  • Lead review and oversight of HRA client Form 900, 5500, and annual audits
  • Ability to take full ownership over tasks, projects and initiatives; demonstrate the ability to critically think and problem-solve
  • Educational consultant and trainer for white-labeling partnerships that may emerge
  • Key contact for large clients and Trusts
  • Other duties may be assigned.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience
  • Multi-level relationship building skills, internally and externally
  • Strong communicator at all levels
  • Ability to identify and act on coaching opportuntiies
  • Technical expertise of Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) consulting products and concepts, keen understanding of accepted compliance principles and regulatory requirements
  • Strong project management ability
  • Ability to adapt approach and style to effectively drive for results
  • Superior Organizational skills and excellent time management skills.
