How will I contribute to the business?
The AI/Gen AI Business Analyst is
responsible for leveraging artificial intelligence and generative AI technologies to drive business insights and optimize processes. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify current state business processes that are opportunities and use cases for AI, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, and developing solutions that enhance business performance.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights using AI tools and techniques.
- Interpret data trends and patterns to inform business decisions.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, define project scope and manage expectations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business challenges and opportunities where AI can be leveraged to drive efficiency, productivity and innovation.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively.
- Drive solution design by collaborating with solution architects to optimize business processes and improve efficiency.
- Develop metrics and KPIs to evaluate the success of AI initiatives.
- Conduct research, market analysis, and solution provider assessments to explore new AI applications, technologies, trends, and recommend their adoption as appropriate.
- Drive the integration of AI solutions with existing business processes, instill ‘human-in-the-loop’ approach in the future state process, ensuring seamless functionality, operations, and user experience.
- Monitor the performance of AI solutions and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Stay informed about ethical considerations and legal requirements related to AI, ensuring compliance and responsible use of AI technologies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the AI team, encouraging experimentation and knowledge sharing.

Do I have what it takes to be considered?
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, or related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business analysis and AI technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in AI tools and platforms (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing and computer vision.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python, R or Java.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud for AI development and deployment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
- Strong business analysis skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage stakeholder expectations and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ethical consideration and legal requirements related to AI, including privacy, security and bias mitigation.
