Overview

As a Digital Experience Content Manager at Gallagher, you will play a crucial role in amplifying the digital presence of our RPS brands and driving user experience across our wholesale insurance and merger partner websites.

 

As a product owner of the RPS websites, your primary focus will be close collaboration with marketing teams and business stakeholders to offer strategic digital leadership that aligns with business growth objectives and the evolving priorities for RPS and their merger partners. You will increase user engagement, and ultimately sales leads, through effective website design, content writing, demand generation strategies and SEO techniques.  

 

As part of Corporate Digital Marketing, you will join a global team of professionals in content strategy, SEO/SEM, marketing, research and design as we support the continued global expansion and digital transformation of our brands.  


How you'll make an impact

  • Advise sales leaders and marketers as well as design and web teams on developing engaging content that drives leads across brands and regions.
  • Responsible for digital strategy in partnership with sales leaders and marketers on go-to-market strategy for incorporating and transitioning partner content, products and solutions into RPS brand offerings.
  • Lead customer-centric and data-driven approaches, leveraging tools to test content and gain insights for user engagement and lead generation.
  • Stay informed about competitors and identify opportunities based on competitor analysis.
  • Manage multiple work streams and balance project priorities with global stakeholders.
  • Supervise day-to-day requests from stakeholders, recommending best practices to promote various forms of content.
  • Perform peer reviews of content drafts to ensure consistent styles and component use.
  • Guide team of near-off-shore resources as business demand grows, including project management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

About You

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.

Highly Preferred: 

  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in the B2B wholesale insurance industry. Experience with independent brokers, the E&S market and employee benefits.
  • Digital-first mindset with demonstrated experience using tools like GA4 to inform content strategy and improvement.
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to negotiate cross-functionally.
  • Experience developing B2B and B2C content for a global audience, including localized content.
  • Experience with page layout and design in component-based content management systems.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms such as GA4, Figma, SEMRush, Ceros, Trello, Workfront and Smartsheets.
  • Experience with agile methodology is a plus.
  • Experience working with M&A transitions is preferred.
  • Core business hours are mostly Central time; however, some flexibility is needed to meet with stakeholders in different time zones.

  • Talented digital writer with demonstrated experience interviewing subject matter experts and breaking down complex concepts into easily digestible, conversational-style copy for various target audiences.
  • Skilled communicator who effectively uses diplomacy to influence stakeholders across brand and partner marketing and sales to develop content strategies that achieve shared business goals.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same. Values flexible working hours and the ability to maintain work-life balance.
  • Organized and adaptive, capable of keeping multiple projects moving forward at the same time.
