The Inventory Planner for the POP! Yourself program is essential. This program consists of hundreds of items that need to be tracked, managed and delivered to have a successful program. Being detail oriented is a key detail. This is the category expert for our Planning team and is directly responsible for maintaining healthy, balanced, optimal inventory levels to drive sales while minimizing overhead and risk. This role succeeds by driving robust inventory management discipline throughout the POP! Yourself organization by providing action-focused reporting/recommendations, process improvements, data quality vigilance, and leadership to the DTC team. This role will be responsible for developing the buy plan, placing all purchase orders, and working cross-functionally with the DTC team.
What You’ll Do
Inventory Management & Reporting
- Responsible for providing timely and accurate analytical data and insight to support the decision-making needs of the organization to drive inventory management.
- Develop effective item-level Flow Planning models based on assortment strategies and demand patterns, across all DTC channels
- Leads inventory management reviews and ensure actions are taken cross departmentally
- Develop and maintain performance analysis and reporting, with the goal of improving the organization’s supply chain operations
- Partners with FPA and Funko S&OP for any inventory management and forecasting
- Investigates, recommends and drives implementation of process changes necessary to increase throughput or remove operational barriers with inventory optimization
What You’ll Bring
- Five or more years in a supply chain, product planning, and inventory management roles
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Experience in a rapid growth and sku-intensive environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated experience with expert-level excel.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Problem-solving mindset with an eye on continuous improvement and a positive attitude.
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Salary Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $77,968 - $92,000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
