Role Purpose
To provide market support in China to Sales Management in order to accelerate the execution of our Funko and Loungefly business plans to drive profitable growth with our Distributor(s) and key trade partners to achieve our sales and profit goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Senior Sales Manager in developing the current China Distributor business by developing relationships with Distributor functions (Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, eCommerce, Supply chain, Operations).
- Support the Senior Sales Manager in presenting company priorities and product to secure orders.
- Work with the customer base on forecasting to ensure appropriate inventory levels and recurring monthly revenue achievement.
- Help to Identify future potential new China Distribution partners and appropriate direct to retail accounts as our China business matures.
- Build and maintain positive proactive business relationships with key China Licensor partners.
- Partner with Marketing colleagues to execute our brand plans to achieve targeted brand feature and visibility:
- Support China trade events and shows.
- Support the development of China Licensed / Franchised stores.
- Support our China on line brand development.
- Analyze China market trends and customer data to drive commercial actions.
- Provide EMEA product team and Finance relevant market and competitor pricing and market intelligence.
- Work with HK Regional Sales Coordinators to develop specific China performance reporting.

What You’ll Bring:
- Extensive experience in a Sales or customer management role (ideally 5 years+), preferably for a consumer product company managing China Distributors and retailers.
- Mandarin and English language skills-verbal and written. (In addition Cantonese helpful but not essential).
- A breadth of knowledge of POP culture - knowledge of collectible / toy industry is a bonus!
- Results and team-oriented, with strong customer focus.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Sound commercial judgement with good analytical skills and ability to analyze data.
- Effective presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized and efficient time management skills with the ability to move quickly and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Mainline China based with ability to travel to Hong Kong.
