Associate Broker
Founder Shield is seeking an Associate Broker within our Financial Institutions vertical to help manage underwriter relations and quoting processes.
What you’ll be doing:
Reporting to the vertical lead, the Associate Broker will be a critical member of the team at Founder Shield. This person will work directly with underwriters as well as our New Business and Customer Success teams on a regular basis in order to accurately quote client policies.
Other responsibilities include:
- Developing relationships with various insurance carriers
- Understanding client business models and negotiating with underwriters for the best possible quotes
- Updating and improving upon internal information management systems
- Facilitating the policy marketing, quoting, and underwriting process
- Delivering accurate quotes that meet or exceed client requests
About you:
- 1+ years of commercial insurance experience or a degree in finance and/or risk management
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-motivated, problem-solver, excited for new challenges
