FCSD Tech is looking for Software Engineers that embrace Agile Programming principles to deliver innovative software products for Ford Motor Company and our Dealers and Customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, build and support stable, scalable data pipelines or ETL processes that cleanse, structure and integrate big data sets from multiple data sources into DW and provision to transactional systems and Business Intelligence reporting.
- Migrate Existing DataStage job from On Prem DataStage to IBM CP4D.
- Collaborate with product and other teams on normalizing and aggregating large data sets based on business needs and requirements.
- Writing SQL queries for analysing and validating the data.
- Debug data quality issues by analysing the upstream sources and provide guidance to data integration team resolutions.
- Work closely with teams for code migrations and production support.
- Have a hands-on approach to solving problems; when required, be able to lead-by-example-type of person in developing snippets of the code that team can use and follow.
- Maintain and constantly refine the Production failures and escalations; be able to capture, articulate and create knowledge base of Production ETL functioning and potential points of failures.
- Have a thorough knowledge of working in Agile environments and adopt to multiple itineraries running in concurrency.
- Experience with CA Agile Central (Rally), backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- The Candidate should have over 7 years of Experience in IBM DataStage/CP4D with at least 4 years in DataStage Version 11.5 and above.
- Mandatory: ETL, Datawarehouse, Postgres, SQL Server, GCP Big Query, SFTP, Unix and File processing.
- Highly skilled in managing all aspects of all sizes and complexities of multiple projects.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Knowledge of GCP and Scheduling tools like Astronomer-Airflow.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- The Candidate should have experience in SQL Script writing.
- The Candidate should have exposure to most of the Database connectors/file /processing stages and applications pack stages.
- Knowledge of Data warehousing schemas/modeling and usage of Agile Methodology
- Ability to support and guide other team members.
- Excellent teamwork, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills are essential, ability to solve complex problems in a global environment.
- Ability to multi-task effectively and prioritize work based on business impact and urgency.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems.
