JOB DESCRIPTION
Ford Automotive Finance Company's (China), (FAFC) China Data, Insight, and Analytics (CDI&A) Credit Analytics organization is looking for motivated and talented individuals with a background in IT and Data analysis.
This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity to apply IT and Data skills to solve a variety of business problems at FAFC. As a member of the Credit Analytics team in CDI&A, the candidate will perform the development of business concepts, implementation, and integration of predictive models and strategies, testing, and productionalization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze, implement, test, and productionalization predictive models and risk strategies using multiple platforms.
- Work with data sources on multiple platforms (PC, Linux, and Teradata).
- Work with Risk Management teams to conduct and support risk analyses; provide quick viable solutions under time constraint.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting, data analysis, and programming as requested by business partners.
- Support platform upgrades.
- Learn new software tools as necessary.
- Execute both descriptive and inferential analyses in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with business partners, Analytics, IT Teams, and Vendors to productionalize predictive models and Strategies.
- Proactively work to continuously improve the business analytics delivery process.
- Play dual-role of data and technology consultant.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Qualification
Bachelors in Computer Science/Data Science, and/or Masters required.
No. of Years of Experience
5+ years
Professional Exposure
(Technical Skills)
2-3 years of proficient programming experience, preferably in Python or other script language in both procedural and object-oriented paradigms.
Experience with RDBMS and data warehousing (Ex: Teradata, Oracle, DB2).
Experience in working with IT testing processes and environments.
Familiarity with Agile and PDO processes.
Preferred previous experiences
Experience using SAS, SQL, Python, SAS RDM, KBS
Experience supporting Data Scientist/Modeler work
