Our Commercial force will continue to grow globally along with our client base. Flexport’s Salesforce development team (Biz Tech) partners closely with the Sales Operations and broader Commercial team to drive growth. The Biz Tech builds scalable processes across our go-to-market technology stack and ensures our Commercial teams can operate at peak productivity. Specifically, as a Developer (Engineer) on this team you will partner with and be a trusted advisor to the North America Sales Leadership team, with ownership across the entire Commercial technology stack such as Salesforce, Gong, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools.
You will:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of complex Salesforce solutions that enable scalable operations and processes for our Commercial organization;
- Provide technical insights and recommendations to ensure that Salesforce application is scalable, maintainable, and aligned with the organization’s long-term goals;
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues and system outages;
- Identify, build, and maintain system integrations between Salesforce and go-to-market applications to drive automation and streamlined workflow execution;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, influencing decisions related to integration with other systems, data management, and overall system architecture;
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of application architectures, configurations, and processes;
- Coach and mentor junior technical resources; own responsibility for ongoing technical development of technical resources on Salesforce projects.
You should have:
- 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a proven track record of independently building and maintaining scalable processes to meet business goals;
- Strong coding skills in Apex, LWC, JavaScript, SOQL ,Salesforce integration, Salesforce CPQ;
- Experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools (ETL, marketing automation, reporting, etc.);
- Familiarity with managing system integrations with GTM technologies like CPQ, Hubspot, Salesloft (or other Sales Automation tools), accounting tools (Netsuite), and enrichment providers;
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to define, scope, and deliver sustainable solutions aligned to business needs;
- Experience leading Salesforce deployments, and including SF CLI and SF CI/CD best practices;
- Energized by fast-paced environments that combine near-term problem solving with long-term planning for scale.
