Reporting to the Manager, UX UI Designer role involves:
Being responsible for contributing to the design of highly technical, large-scale applications from conception to launch and beyond. This role works closely with managers, engineers, and developers to identify user needs and workflows, define a vision for new software apps and execute enhancements to current ones. The person in this position collaborates with stakeholders to solve complex design challenges and shape the team's end-to-end design process.
What a typical day looks like:
- Conducts functional testing of the applications to ensure all requirements are met.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles, user-centered design, and usability best practices.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- UI Design: Create user-friendly UI designs for mobile apps, websites, web apps, and other consumer-facing digital products
- Converts designs and specifications into computer code.
- Ability to follow, understand and refine digital design and development processes
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to illustrate and communicate design concepts and interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end and back-end developers, to integrate front-end designs with server- side logic.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to the resolution of UI issues and bugs.
- Experience with programming language such as html, JavaScript and CSS.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- Any Bachelors or Master degree.
- 5-8Yrs of experience in IT.
- Able to work in teams using Software Control Repository tools (TFS, Git).
- Understand the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and the deliverable of each phase.
- Understanding of development methodologies (including Agile methodologies such as Scrum, extreme etc) and experience in one of the Agile methodologies preferably in SCRUM.
