As an Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, testing, and maintenance of automated test equipment used for testing electronic components and systems in medical devices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our testing processes are efficient, accurate, and meet industry standards.
What a typical day looks like:
- You will design and develop automated test equipment and test programs.
- Conduct testing and validation of electronic components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
- Maintain and update existing test equipment and software.
- Document test procedures, results, and any modifications made to the test systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends related to automated testing.
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in automated test equipment and testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of LabVIEW and TestStand.
- Experience in electronic measurements.
- Familiarity with PCBa schematics and equipment's cabling schemes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Availability to travel as needed for project requirements.
