Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supply Chain Manager - EMEA and Supplier Partnership Manager (m/f/d) preferably located in Central Europe.
Reporting to the Senior Director - Sourcing and Supply Chain Power Solutions, the Supply Chain Manager - EMEA and Supplier Partnership Manager role will be in charge of directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management and will also manage and oversee the methods and processes in hold up of both new and existing products.
Scope of the Role:
- Responsible for overall supply chain readiness for the Embedded Power Business in Althofen and other EMEA sites as needed;
- Fully execute future supplier partnership agreements (similar to the current Renesas - Flex partnership).
- Make sure all legal contracts are written, negotiated and executed and program is ramped on time and on budget in collaboration with GCMs, SOP and Operations teams;
- Ensure Kalmar Design Site gets required support from supply chain and sourcing organization;
- Translate 3YP and or longer term forecasts into component level forecasts for key commodities and make sure 1) suppliers are investing in these technologies and 2) we have sufficient capacity in these different technology nodes in the future;
- Directly accountable for ensuring that the buffer programs we have get implemented and executed with key suppliers and part numbers.
- Typically requires a completed degree or training within a related field and already some relevant Supply Chain experience in an international & complex Matrix Organization;
- Six Sigma Black Belt with experience of conducting lean and six sigma trainings to accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement (Kaizen, Yokoten) culture;
- Knowledge of Management skills and technical experience in Finance, Materials and Operations activities;
- Ability to execute detailed expertise in very complex situations and multiple sites & areas;
- Excellence communication skills in English to successfully influence external and internal stakeholders, including customers and executives;
- Readiness to travel ~ 15-25%.
