Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Supply Chain Engineer located in in Oostrum, North Limburg.

Within our Supply Chain Services organization, the Regional Control Center is a centralized hub containing various disciplines that manage the end-to-end supply chain management for one dedicated logistic customer. The international transport flows and stock movements in the EMEA region are efficiently managed in various result areas.

Reporting to the Account Coordinator, the Supply Chain Engineer role involves designing new processes, analyses for improvement and managing the portfolio management process. You will drive all improvement initiatives executed by Flex or partners. You will be involved in driving projects across the range of our customer's activities from inbound, warehouse management, outbound transport, partner management, revenue management.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Manage and report out the cost savings on a monthly base
  • Have regular project portfolio update meetings with customer
  • Analyze transport flows (inbound & outbound) and transport visibility flows.
  • Develop solution with an end-2-end process view: order management, transport, warehousing, reporting and analytics.
  • Bring forward new solutions and ideas to develop and improve supply chain concepts
  • Scope and implement improvement projects
  • Maintain, coordinate, and resolve system and IT related issues with our partners and stakeholders.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor/ Master's degree in logistics or economical field
  • 3-4 years relevant working experience
  • Broad logistics chain expertise with knowledge of different supply chain fields of work ranging from international transports, order management, data analytics
  • Strong analytical mindset, able to have a broad view with attention to detail
  • Advanced English and (preferably) Dutch.
  • Know-how of processes in WMS, TMS systems, data analytics.
