Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer - Database Expertise located in Guadalajara, South Campus

Reporting to the Technical Project Manager, the PProduct Engineer - Database Expertise role involves receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all technical information/documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change, to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity.

What a typical day looks like:

• Experience with extraction and database manipulation.
• D aily dealings with clients.
• Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on the production line.
• Interact with customers and various departments on product-related issues - engineering changes, and new model development.
• Suggest modifications to work instructions, materials, or product changes to ensure superior quality of products.
• Participate in cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, and scrap reduction.
• Provide training to the debug technicians and develop a better understanding of the product.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in the automotive industry and electronic manufacturing environment.
• Database experience (SQL Server is a plus).
• Fluent English.
• Experience using Floor shop systems.
• Knowledge of personnel management experience in ECO's implementation.
• Leadership - Work team management experience.
• Availability to travel.
