Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Technician located in Austin, Tx .
Work Shift - 1st Shift 4X10 0500a-0300p Mon-Thur
What a typical day looks like:
- Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible processes.
- High level participation in daily production activities and effective problem solving on daily issues.
- Support new process introduction (NPI) and production environments.
- Participate in activities pertaining to safety, cycle time, process, and yield improvements.
- Provide training to production personnel for new processes, equipment, tooling, material, etc.
- Some equipment preventative maintenance tasks required.
- Document issues, improvements, processes, etc.
- Understand the manufacturing processes, technologies, techniques, products and materials.
- Have the capability to independently or together with other engineering stakeholders identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions in the manufacturing process.
- Typically requires 2-4 years of related experience
- Associate's Degree in related field a plus
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing and IPC
