To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we're looking to add a Mechanical Engineering Intern located in our Dallas, Texas site.

Reporting to the OPEX Manager, the Intern will assist with daily engineering tasks while learning, collaborating and working alongside Engineers and cross-functional teams.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Assist Engineering Team with time studies, reviewing documentation, drawings and CAD
  • Monitor Lean Manufacturing implementations
  • Collaborate with Engineering Team with writing reports and reporting findings to team
  • Attend team meetings and support project work as needed
  • Assist in New Product and Process Introduction for a Greenfield facility
Student qualities we're seeking for this internship assignment:
  • Junior/Senior student pursuing Mechanical/Industrial Engineering major
  • Enthusiastic about working in a manufacturing environment
  • CAD tools (AutoCAD/Solidworks) experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma helpful
  • MS Office Suite
  • Highly collaborative, creative and excellent communication skills
  • Previous Engineering related internship experience a plus!
Internship Program Requirements:
  • Available to work 40 hours/week for a 10-12 week Summer assignment (in-person)
  • Currently enrolled in 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
