Job Summary
SHIFT: 6:00am - 6:00pm CST. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, every other Wednesday .
Core Responsibilities:
- Request quotes from approved suppliers and submits to purchasing.
- Compare vendor pricing, lead times, and warranty terms.
- Maintain relationships with OEMs and third-party vendors.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and change control procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock as needed.
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Respond to internal requests for parts and provide status updates.
- Strong Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with SAP system.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Typically requires completion of secondary school, vocational training, or equivalent with experience in the use of computer applications.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience within the materials, planning or related function.
- Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: typing, telephones, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation packages and database systems, Experience in the use of computer applications, Inventory Experience, BAAN or any ERP experience, Inventory Cycle count.
- Demonstrates functional skills. Demonstrates basic functional process knowledge and participates in process improvement.
