We are looking for new colleague in our team for the following position:

Logistics Project Manager

Reporting directly to the Director, Global Program Management in this role you will be responsible for ensuring productivity, efficiency, and management of various logistics operations. These operations may include, but are not limited to, tracking product shipments, contract negotiations, preparation of budget and cost analysis statements, creation of more efficient logistical planning, and coordination of shipments.

What a typical day looks like:
  • Define and enforce packaging requirements to align with operational and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance, efficiency, and best practices. Maintance and regular updates of existing SOPs.
  • Packaging Specification for Road- and Ocean Freight
  • UNILABEL design and barcode generation, quality check
  • Request and manage possibilities and detailed transport routes (including rest locations and border crossing points) for imports
  • Waste transport permit/license/registration tracking and follow up
  • Carrier insurance tracking and follow up
  • Compilation of Notification packages with transport related parts
  • Provide support for Ocean freight shipments where the carrier is MAERSK
  • Maintenance and update the "ADR Declaration" form with battery details
  • Commercial- and Proforma Invoice layout maintenance for WEEE shipments
  • Rate card maintenance (distance, pick-up location updates)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and site management to drive logistics initiatives and improve overall performance.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field or equivalent experience
  • Require extensive experience in transport management; experience in waste transport is an advantage.
  • At least five years of experience in relevant field
  • Good knowledge of Hungarian and English is essential
  • Analytical mindset and technical aptitude
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill
