To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Laser Cutting Machine Operator located in Dallas, Texas.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Laser Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to precision-cut various materials, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.
Work Environment: Work in a manufacturing environment with laser cutting machines.
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
What a typical day looks like:
- Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting machines
- Prepare materials for cutting, ensuring proper alignment, and positioning.
- Inspect cut products for quality and accuracy
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating the machine
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with the machine or cutting process.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with laser cutting machines or similar equipment
- Certifications in laser cutting or CNC machining preferred
- Experience with laser cutting machines and software
- Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality products
- Understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
- Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time
- Must wear PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, and ear protection, while working on the production floor
